App Studio Toolbox Pane

The App Studio Toolbox contains a list of all the Controls that can be placed on a form. The Toolbox is one of the App Studio main window docking panes.

 

There are three ways to add a new Control to a form using the Toolbox:

• Double-click a Control item, it will be added to the current form at the top left.

• Drag a Control item onto a form.

• Select a Control item, then draw a selection rectangle on the current form.

 

The right-click context menu allows you to switch between displaying the available Controls in a list with a label identifying each Control and a more compact display, showing each Control as an icon only.
