Controls

Controls are the building blocks of your forms. They allow information to be displayed on the form, enable users of the form to input data and provide a means for you to initiate actions within the form. Digitise Apps includes a variety of Controls which you can use on your forms such as static text, edit boxes, check boxes, buttons, image holders and ink pictures.

Controls can be mapped to your back-office systems, allowing you to display data downloaded to the device from the back office and to update your back-office systems with data input by users of the app.

Controls are added to a form from the Toolbox Pane. The simplest way to add a Control to a form is to simply drag it from the Toolbox and drop it on the form. For a list of all the available Controls and descriptions of how they operate, click here.
