App Manager Device Properties
These Properties affect an individual device and are configured within App Manager, under the Device category Properties tab.

Serial Number
View, edit or add serial number of device. The Serial Number is a unique alphanumeric string which identifies an individual device to Digitise Apps and, if you have the App Server configured for automatic device registration, will be generated automatically the first time a device connects to the App Server. If you have configured the App Server for manual device registration, you will need to enter a suitable value here when registering a new device. For more information about the format of this identification string and configuring the App Server for automatic or manual device registration see App Manager - The Device Category.
Description
Description of this device for your reference.
Type
Specify device type: Android, Apple or Windows. You can ignore the other device types as they are no longer supported.
Security Action
The Security Action Property allows you to deny access to an individual device and also to automatically delete your Digitise apps from it. Possible values are:
None
Do nothing.
Purge Applications
The next time this device connects, it will be sent a message to delete all its Digitise apps and associated data. On Apple devices, the data will be deleted but the apps won't be uninstalled.
Purge Applications and Digitise Apps Install
On currently supported devices, this is equivalent to Purge Applications.
Deny Device Access to Server
Block access to the server for this device, but nothing is deleted on the client.
For Android, Universal Windows and Windows Desktop Platforms, changes to this Property will be updated on the Digitise Apps Client or Standalone App the next time the Client connects to the App Server to refresh the App List, i.e. if the Client or Standalone App checks for updates when loading or authenticates a user with the App Server or a user manually refreshes the list. On Apple devices, the Digitise Apps Client doesn't include the ability to refresh the Application List, so changes will be picked up the next time the Client or Standalone App authenticates a user with the App Server.
