Spacer Element
The Spacer Element allows you to add horizontal space before or after an Element, for example it can be used to increase the space between Elements positioned on the same line or to change the width of an Element.
When adding a Spacer to a page or moving it to a different position, look for the vertical guide line to add it to an existing line or between two Elements already on the page; a horizontal guide line will add the Spacer to a new line.
Once added to a page, selecting the Spacer will display a grey vertical line between the Spacer and any adjoining Elements. If there are no other Elements on the same line, no grey lines will be displayed. If there is only an Element to the right of the Spacer, a grey line will appear at the right-hand end of the Spacer; an Element to the left, will display a grey line at the left-hand end of the Spacer.
To adjust the width of a Spacer, e.g. to increase the space between two adjoining Elements, select the Spacer and then hover your mouse pointer over the appropriate grey line until the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow and then click and drag the line sideways. Release your mouse button to stop resizing.

Once you have placed a Spacer Element on a page, you can edit the Element's properties to configure the Element for your requirements. Select the Element on the page to display its properties in the Properties Pane.
